I may be the founder of the Pickle Barn, but the story starts way before this. A conversation over dinner with a group of friends ignited the idea of building a pickleball facility to help promote pickleball in the Flathead Valley. It would need to be a kind place where all are welcome. It was a grand idea that this group of people came up with that has now become reality! A lot of people talk about doing things, but because of my friends and their enthusiasm for the game of pickleball, the Pickle Barn is here! It has taken over a year of learning opportunities to see what can be. The old saying "build it and they will come" has been an inspiration for bringing the Pickle Barn to fruition. I am just a puppet of the pickleball community trying to build something grand for this Valley and for tomorrow's pickleball!

I've lived my entire life in the Flathead Valley area. Growing up, I enjoyed playing many sports, but became most passionate about tennis. After playing competitive tennis for about 14 years and teaching it for several years, I found the game of pickleball in 2015 and never looked back. I love the game and how it's still evolving. I really enjoy playing competitively on the tour, but I also love sharing this game with others by teaching lessons. Born and raised in the Flathead Valley, I love spending time in the outdoors with my family and of course, pickleball! I’ve played on the pro tour as a sponsored player for several years and look forward to tournaments that I get to bring my husband, son, and daughter along with me.
